Innamaadhoo Beach & Sandbank

4.91–3 hrs

Innamaadhoo is surrounded by white sandy beaches and a shallow turquoise lagoon suited to swimming and wading. A prominent sandbank at one end of the island is a favourite spot for walks and photos, especially around low tide. Coconut palms shade parts of the shore, and sunsets over Raa Atoll are a daily highlight. Official island records note coastal sandspit features along the shoreline.

Highlights

  • Soft white sand and calm lagoon swimming
  • Large sandbank at the island’s end
  • Shaded areas and sunset views
  • Easy access from residential areas

Visitor Tips

  • Visit the sandbank around low tide for the widest exposed sand
  • Use reef-safe sunscreen and respect local dress near homes
  • Take drinking water and leave no litter on the sandbank
